Please, for the love of God, do not treat anything in Chronicles of the Pride as a canon source of TLK information... trust me, I read this whole thing over a period of 3 days. Just... just don't do it.
I'm sorry. I don't take anything from CotP either, But when I asked someone what ever happened to Sarabi, thats what was thrown at me. I preferably don't like CotP all too much, I was just passing the information that was given to me.

Actually...? I think it's sounds abit cheesey if you'd ask me.MufasaCub писал(а):Well, I heard from a friend of micht that in Chronicles of the Pride, Sarabi passes away in her slumber before Kiara born. She lifter her head, in the spirit realm, because she was still as she was when she died. She saw Mufasa before her, and knew she had passed away. Then Scar appeared and they spoke. Scar and Mufasa had put the issue behind them, and become true brothers. Sarabi talked amongst Scar and Mufasa, and together the three walked away into the night, as spirits, together.
That's what I was told but I do not think Chronicles of the Pride was used for SP But the concept is great I think. Very touching.
But maybe that's what happend... we'll never know, now will we?!
I have this strange feeling of that i thought the internet was a freeworld. The Sonic God писал(а):Please, for the love of God, do not treat anything in Chronicles of the Pride as a canon source of TLK information... trust me, I read this whole thing over a period of 3 days. However you don't seem too share that opinion.
I think people have the right and knowledge too think, act and belive for their own.
Sure maybe you think it's a waste of time but HEY, not everybody is like YOU.
I say: Let them deside if it's worth reading or not, you shouldn't make that decision for them.
I don't need no one else but you in my life!

Who can really be angry with someone as polite as you?The Sonic God писал(а):Perhaps I was a bit strong in my statement there. I apologize.
I should apologize aswell... I overreacted a li'l bit.
I just think people should get the chance to make their own opinion.

See what happens when smileys arn't involved?!The Sonic God писал(а):Good point. I don't get to visit this messageboard often, but when I do, perhaps something a little less harsh is necessary. I meant to be amusing... just lacked an emoticon.
A smiley can change a sentence in millions of ways.

That seems to be the mentality of people these days on the internet. If it lacks an emoticon, it's automatically seen as rude or sarcastic. Why?
Anyway, the mystery of Simba's mother shall most likely remain that way. She was a key character in the first movie, but they didn't find her a role in the second. How would she react or respond to the fact that Mufasa was dead, anyway?

Maybe she retired for acting. The Sonic God писал(а):That seems to be the mentality of people these days on the internet. If it lacks an emoticon, it's automatically seen as rude or sarcastic. Why?

There are people who say that they spotted Sarabi in the crowd of the lionesses when Kiara goes for her first hunt. Actually, the same goes for Sarafina.
I think that it is up to our imagination to decide what happened.
The Burkitt and Morris stories ARE fanfiction, just like any other non-canon source of info. Some of you may find them well written and interesting. Personally, I don't think that there is anything special and I find the religious overtones overbearing. And the question about Sarabi has inspired me to write a Sarabi fanfic myself.
I have to ask though - do you think that it is important that it is not explicitly stated anywhere what happened to Sarabi? Would you rather know for 100% or would you like to think of something yourselves?
Madge Sinclair died in 1997. (I think). She had leukemia.
