British expression is quite often misunderstood as an exquisite way to say something, although it's hardly ambiguous..

Speak High German and learn and understand.

I shall do just that.

My grandfather says I should learn at least 600 words of German to get around well enough... my English knowledge though, I have a vocabulary of 20,000 words... I've a lot of work to do.

Erm, Sonic God...you're an American, sure you know English well.
But...where do you all have learned German!? Sonic God knows German, Shadowfox is also able to speak it, Borah too...where have you all learned German? Is it really such an important language like English, Spanish or Japanese?
