My family, as I know and got teached, had also some problems in the second world war...I don't know anything about my grandmothers' pasts, but my grandfather, I bet, has escaped from Hungary after the second world war...when there was russian rule, and Austria was poor and without money after the world war, but we had a wonder. In 1955, Austria has got his indepencence as first of the countries back, and today we are one of the richest countries in the world, a bit like the Swiss.
Really a wonder...but there America has saved us!
