Humanity is but one of many of God's divine creations.
I'd like to think that I'm part of this earth, and that somehow, everything is connected to me. Deep within a lion and a human exists blood of red colour. That blood was created by consuming the meat and vegetables that was created from the ground which God created. We also share the water that covers the majority of this planet. We both breathe, sleep, and fight to live. We both have times of struggle, and times of pure bliss. I see not one bit of difference other than what my emotion sense of touch and sight give me.
Those whom really take care of their lions or tigers to the best of their abilities understand that they are living, breathing creatures. They must be loved and cherished each day. If I had a 250 kilo tiger, I'd need to think about what I do. I'm a mere 120 kilos compared to that tiger, so, I know I could be taken down in one swift blow. Such power demands respect. If you love the tiger (or lion as the case may be), and treat him or her with the respect that he or she deserves, then that love will be given in return, in a far less lethal form.

Maybe I have misunderstanded something. In general I can agree with some points of your statement but...
1) What do you mean by loved each day? Do you think of love as something you give to someone EACH day, like to feed him...
or something you feel...
2) The power, I think, is not measured in kilograms ;-)

1) Both. Love is not measured in objects, but rather the care you give your family member. If feeding is a part of that caring, then by all means it is included.Shadowfox писал(а):Maybe I have misunderstanded something. In general I can agree with some points of your statement but...

2) Weight and Power go together when it comes to strength. The more muscle you have, the greater your weight.

I see one reply, and then I imagine a person shaking their head in disagreement. "...if that is what you think."
It is what I know, because I've been studying animalistic behaviour for years. It's one of the big reasons I'm stayed a furry. Understanding is key to developing relationships.
But, to each his or her own. I will not dispute in what you believe to be true.

You shouldn't just be able to "purchase" a big cat.
There are reservations which had rescued big cats from places like circuses, or places where the owners have neglected the cats. I'd like to create my own place some day, a large piece of open land where my big cats could roam free, and eat free. ^^ But, that is a lot of work.

Wow.. This i call "the great idea" But it's too difficult, i can't even dream about.. As to be the president of the Walt Disney for example I just hope to buy own residence with a piece of land around, and big cat to share it Will see.. I hope i'll not be too old when my dream will come true.

Well, it may look strange but I think it will be more "realistic" for us just to leave the cats where they live and visit them when we want. I agree with The Sonic God's "Noble idea" - if you have the money - I am with you. As for the people who want a lion roaring in their mansion - again, if you have the money, do it.
P.S. I think it is not suitable for lions to live in our homes. There is something which the Human cannot domesticate, isn't it... including lions. What do you think people
