Sadly that disney is not likely gonna film it...

The personages, humor, a lot of african animals and scenes, a real lioness hunt and relationship between the animals - it's all bright and very real. If somewhere in the world (or other planet) without people, but with such animals and culture - there probably will be the same relationships.

Yeah, the houses are built very weak. Just wood and some brick around the front of the house. Most don't even have basements for shelter!

I'm sure everyone knows about now, but I feel like its my responsibility to share this info of what's going on in the US right now concerning the internet. There are bills that are aimed to censor the internet that are in congress as of writing this. This is really horrible and outrageous.

A similar thing has been just passed in Russia. I'm choosing between paying for Cryptohippie VPN and opening UDP ports to get decent I2P. The latter will allow bitcoin to function too, but I like my firewall...

Blah! If the internet isn't broken, then you don't need to fix it!!!! I hate internet control. I feel sorry for you guys in Russia. I hope this doesn't spread into other countries. As for now, VPN is the way to go. Is Cryptohippie a one time pay service?

As a side note, I think I'm going to try to learn Russian. I also have the opportunity to study over there if I want to, but idk if I actually want to. What do you all think?

I think it's a great idea! I have an American guy in my group in university, he speaks funny but we correct him when he makes mistakes We also saw black dudes in the other group, we stared at them and made them little nervous about it

It looks to be the early scripts/drafts of TLK. Very interesting!

I tried reading the older one and gave up after reading a quarter of it. Man, it's good that they've axed that...

The more recent one, on the other hand, is magnifiscent! It's not that I'd like to see TLK like this, but it makes a good independent story and a great read even despite being a script. Both the story and the world are much more coherent, interaction between species is convincing, and the leonine sociual structure is much closer to that of the "real" world than in the final TLK version (which, as we all know, is hard to expand beyond what's shown in the film).
