Agree. I wish to see a decent continue of the great Circle of Life.

Well, Disney's been damaging their all-time classics by focusing on the children... these movies were family classics, not just for kids. And they had a sense of realism in them, something to draw us in.

Now Cinderella has a third part. Three?! What gives, Disney? Enough is enough...

You're right, three IS enough. But even worse is that, the "extended" plot is retarded. They make the first movie look like a waste by adding these ridiculous cheesy corn-corn sequels. It's just annoying. However...Disney 'does' get a few wise story writers every now and then on a select few sequels, ex: Fox and the Hound..they did fine with that one.

Making sequels for movies that were not intended to have sequels is something I call "Cash Cow-Milking." This means that someone at the highest level of the corporate chain thinks that he or she doesn't have enough money... regardless of the billions of dollars that they already have.

sadly thats what its all about today...

i totally agree that the quality of disney's sequals has dropped signifigantly since the releases of the originals. but hey, sequals are almost never as good as the originals. imo, a lot of it has to do with the fact that after a few of the same movies, many actors say its enough and refuse to be in it...but to make things worse, the movie makers just hire new people, whether they fit the part or not, just to do the movie.

No actually from 10th of march.

"Disney has posted a notifier page where you can sign up to receive an e-mail when Disney publishes a release date for The Lion King on Blu-Ray (or the DVD re-release)."

Have really been waiting for the blu-ray to come hopefully they will also release the trilogy on blu-ray but only time will tell!
I really hope this will be as great as the TLK-SE with lots of extra material.

Anyone else whos been waiting for this?
