well, we all have our perspectives... I may be a bit of a freak, but not enough to put cats over people.. I mean, sure they're cute and stuff, but I ain't going around chasing a lioness unless I'm tired of living :P

Why would you chase a wild lioness? Try to chase some random woman, and i bet you'll get into trouble almost as bad Or even worse. Lioness may get scared and just run away, while a woman will surely try to make you pay for your acting lately. haha! Also, you don't need to chase everything you love. We love music, we love the Sun, we love the sky, we love Nala, Simba.. You may also see a lion(ess) in your human friend and love her(him)

PS: Tamed(not sure about the spelling) lioness would be a loving and calm friend. Not like i would suggest that though, just a fact. Lions are the most human-friendly big cats. Have you seen Born Free? Man, i envy that guy so much

And well, I don't look for a lioness in a girl that I like.. I have my own prefered qualities

Lions having a social behaviour can express some sort of "compatibility" with humans... though I still don't recommend constantly being around them without some major training... not that one couldn't deal with the fact that lions are ten times stronger than humans... but cleaning all of the scat around the house... meh.

do not underestimate yourself. Muscular threads are the same everywhere, if your weight is like 70Kg and lioness is 180, then the lioness would be roughly 2,6 times stronger than you. And only a wild-grown one would have a trained muscles. It's pretty enough to make you into a chopped liver though, but we do not consider fighting at all. But if you want some data about lion-human matchup, check the Roman history, they were loving gladiator fights with lions (man i hate them grrr )

Heyho! Yeah, the Romans were cruel. Not only humans sacrificed, also lions.
But I heard the lions were told to attack humans without weapons.
So the humans had no real chance. But also the cats were poor.

By the way: I also think "big cats" as pets are nonsense. Many people want to have an ozelot or serval or kind of as pet in their home...the cats destroy everything, the people lock them in the cellar...the cats get savage and mad, they become mentally ill and get crazy at last.
This is also awful...the cats die then...

Lioness weight 140-150 kg, lion 180-200. Largest lion was killed in 1936 gis weight was 313 kg.
