That's great! You definitely need more practice and study of the anatomy, so you can draw things like that without any photo.

Makes me happy you like it! I'm definitely will be practising more and anatomy. I really want to make originals that look this good or better.

I'm happy how well it turned out!

The background looks surreal, kinda like a dreamscape. I wonder what's the back story for this picture.

The back story is a little hard to explain. Klair is an earth pony. Her personality is strong and independent kind of like RD but way more girly. Klair is very special because at time of heavy emotion unexplained things happen. Her parents have realized this and have fully accepted her for who she is, but it seems as if they are hiding something from her. She moved to Ponyville at a young age to make a living, but driving her deep down inside she wants to discover who she is and why she is different. When ponies ask about her cutie mark she becomes shy (unlike her) and defensive, and tries to quickly change the subject.

How can I explain this without breaking forum rules and without giving too much away either. XP

It was a beautiful day at the park with her new friend. Blue skies with while puffy clouds, the perfect temperature with a light breeze. She and her friend were enjoying the nice day, killing time as it slowly moved on. It reminded her of the fun times she had with her childhood best friend - times that she misses. Klair was in bliss, so much so that it triggered it. Her hooves lifted up from the soft grass and she became weightless. She panicked at first but quickly regained her focus. She knew. It's coming. Gravity tuned upside down and she started falling (up). She could see the terror in her friends eyes vanishing in the distance above her. She passed clouds. The rush of white passing her vision and the smell of calmness and humidity. She broke the cloud layer. It's as if she's going to impact the waters of the sky. The planet leaving her behind. Out in the near distance a massive planet made of ominous clouds loomed. She's heading towards it. She knows. Klair directed herself towards it and peacefully closed her eyes.

So that ^ is what this is x) I gave more than I wanted but I drew something so far into this that I had to. I'll unveil the rest later. :P

That's funny. I really like drawings, that are centered around a pun. I have one of my own, though it's hard to understand at first, so read the description.

On a side note, when I hear the name "Pinkie Pie" for some reason I imagine a pie made of little fingers (pinkies). Maybe I read 'Cupcakes' too much.

Oh dear, cupcakes... I stand far away from that. I want to keep my mlp mind clean. :]

I've been trying to draw a little everyday and out of spontaneous doodles I started on this chillingTiger project. I've redon everything at least once, focusing on color (hue, color palett, value, and saturation) and also contrast.

This is my analysis. I'm not too sure about the tone part. I see a diagonal difference; like more gray on the right side, inno.

The sky is already spectacular!
The ground looks a tad too dark though, as it were just naked soil. You might want to add some grass and trees.
