---> I would have translated it so. This also includes the meaning of the text. Rammstein lyrics are always a bit symbolic. Like many german lyrics, just symbolical instead of clear.
I'm only not clear about "erpressen"...normally erpressen means to blackmail, to extort, to to shake someone down.
Your translation on "erpressen" seems accurate.
Hey, thanks a bunch for this, I seem to have a better understanding of the grammar. For me right now, I only know a few words, and maybe one or two meanings of each word, so I wasn't sure if "bis" meant "through" or "until."

I don't know how the weather get;s for everybody else. But here in Louisiana it's about 100 degrees F and we've got hurricane like death going on. The funny thing is....our roof likes to leak. We can bathe in fresh hurricane water now. Yay.
NASA got a 1$ Bill. I think they're going to go back to basics...launching chimps out of slingshots into space.

And it seems that I can split topics here... just can't merge them like I can on other boards. Oh well.
