At this moment there are three languages to choose (Polish, English, German) but I'll propably add Russian soon

Hello and welcome. It appears that you have captured the screenshots from the well known 720p satellite capture. The capture itself is accessible via torrents to general public, has been for many years actually.. While the image resolution is decent, it has a bunch of graphical flaws, such as vertical image jitter, stream tearing in some places and the "ABC" logo. Attemts were made to clean it up, but unfortunately with no success.. We have to wait for proper blu-ray release from disney to watch TLK in HD.. Meanwhile you might be interested in IMAX HD screens which trully are extremely "HD", 3500*2200 dimensions, here is a small sample of how big they are download/file.php?id=5185&mode=view . We've got 57 shots like that, distributed among TLK-fans only with agreement to never upload it to general public galleries.

Man, thanks for such amount of work! I wonder, are there any possibility to get not the re-drawn version screens? For example, this refreshed Simba really scratches my eye. (I hope they won`t make this shame up to blu-ray)

Classic TLK has not been "refreshed" aside from very few particular scenes. I.e. the crocodiles, the Scar's head after first confrontation with the hyenas and a few backgrounds. What you see is but a clear vision of what was always there but hidden in blur and low resolution. Even the infamous "simba's huge tail" was always there as we have found on TLK-LD capture.

Of course the blu-ray release will contain the same graphics as we saw on DVD and in IMAX, and im afraid there is no hope of getting them old crocodiles back, and "morning report" will be there of course.

As about the satellite grab, i thought everyone knows about it ;P You can get it here for instance http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1562500 and see for yourself(im warning you it's not good for watching as a movie, because of all the issues i mentioned above, extended DVD-9 would still be better overall).. As well as take any shots you like..

There is a possibility to blur ABC logo, but still there will be a fuzzy place... So it's better to wait for blu-ray.

The point is, although crocodiles etc. are minor stuff, but in whole they leave some feeling of estrangement. This needs to be felt somehow, otherwise all my statements have no firm point.
"Morning report" is like a tumor to me, misplacing the whole concept if the movie.
But well, all above is only my conservative opinion. I have the same problem with remastered "Star wars" - as with inspirationless, commercial thing.

I'm trying to remove the logo with a dvd layer, but it's way harder than I thought. The timings on the two hd versions and the dvd version are off by minutes, making almost impossible to line up the layers. So far this is what I have accomplished.

At times you can't tell that en extra layer is there, but during high movement scenes the layer is off my a few frames and is very noticeable
I'm still working on making it seamless, though.

As an update, I've have instead blurred out the logo. I'm also removing the morning report! In general I'm making the ABC version as close as to the theatrical version. As far a the sound track goes, I haven't decided what to use. After I'm done I'll share it.

I want to add Russian language but I need your help
how to say "Russian Gallery" and "The Lion King, HD gallery" in Russian?
I know cyrillic but not Russian (I'm from Poland, Russian sounds quite similar to Polish so it's usefull for me) XD

PS. I'm still reuploading pictures now, so there's no screens yet

If I may come with a suggestion.
All those pages seem very messy... Maybe you could divide the movie into acts as seen in lionking.org site.
Making finding the favorite pics more effective.

I'll do that but not with these screens - I'll upload soon fullHD screens with the division on acts
Unfortunately there won't be russian language for now because kh_mod is not translated into russian

1 screengrab per 23 frames, the movie is about 24fps so it's (a little over) 1 image per every second of the movie!

It will take some time because my upload speed is only 256kbps For now you can see Circle of Life screens in FullHD
