Merry Christmas!!! Hope you had a cool Christmas dinner and everything.
I went to midnight mass last night for the first time ever!! It was very nice and insightful into Christian culture. (Not being religious is good for an open mind, and it is nice to learn about the different customs that people have.)
And I hope everyone enjoyed their presents too!
Now we can look forward to the New Year, Russian Christmas, Old New Year, Chinese New Year and I have friends with birthdays in between.
YAY!
Season's Greetings!!

Are You sure? No, I'm really interested in it. I've never been in Russian. Especially on Christmas time. What do You eat? What are You doing after supper? You are not catholics, are't You?

Actually chrisatmas is not day when we walk or omething like that we. But new year is a holliday which all russian people met not in the house. After the president speech in 12 00 we all go out and walk with friends, buy fireworks and let off it
it's a holiday of fun.
christmas is more coservative, yes we are not catholics, some people go to the church or meet it with family at home.
as for me or my friends we don't too care what holiday is now, we often walking or go to the cinema - like usually

at 12:00 You have to listen a president speach? Sounds funny.
What is he saying? In new year time we (polish) used to have a whole night party. And at 12:00 (24:00) when it is new year we fire off fireworks. is looks beautiful. Some people lioke to get drunk, but not me. I'm not drinking alkohol accually. And Christmas... it is a supper. And we used to have a gifts for our family. i think it is nice. than we go to the church.

Wow you ask a lot of questions, lol. Most places around the world do similiar things on new years. In America, at Christmas, we just get together, eat, and open presents. At New Years, everyone just either leaves the house for a party or stays home and pops fireworks till the big ball in New York drops, or when the clock strikes 12, which ever time zone you're in.
