The pips at furrville have been upgraded from the large single paws to smaller groups of golden or gray paws.

I like the ones which represent military ranks "Captain, Major, General"... with their "badges" ;-)

Yeah, I think I've seen those somewhere on Star Trek Military websites. Ranks were created to reflect upon the TV show. They were pretty cool.

But this isn't Star Trek, this is The Lion King. The paws will do. ^^

Speaking of ranks; I, too had revamped my rank system on my own board. It isn't TLK, but you can see how difficult it was to implement:

The more the merrier. I just did it for the members. People like fun things, ya know?

If I went to a messageboard knowing that the most I could get is like 3 paws, 4 being reserved for a mod, and 5 for an admin, I'd get a little bored.

Rank is meant to show activity, and how active a member is after registration.

The Sonic God, about your forum (ultimategamers) - I think there is a slight problem with the displaying of the ranks...

Well, on my site there are a total of 7 ranks, and the mods and admins don't have their own. I'm not telling you how many posts it takes though. :P
