Hello Mieko!
Now, I am so happy there are more and more TLK friends coming from all over the world (particularly Germany hahah). I welcome you Mieko! As well as MafunDi you will enjoy your stay here for noone has ever left this place... EXCEPT Sarafina, whom I do not see much around here... pretty said - she could just pop here and say hello but... whatever...
Hm...funny, hehe. No, you don't have to apologise, it was only funny
But...Austria isn't a part of Germany, it was in the second world war when...yeah, when we got conquered by Germany. Hrchrm. But today it's an independent and neutral nation, using same first language as our big neighbour Germany, but having other traditions and history, I suppose...?
It's a pity your friends had landed in Austria, but...hehe, they weren't visiting Germany then.
(Hopefully I'm always being able to differ Romania and Bulgaria in the future...)

Why this? Because people are speaking Bulgarian?
I think you really could be in Austria and think you're in Germany, same language, same...yeah, could be possible. But - shouldn't be!
And I'm not sure if not all languages sounded similiar for me if I was in Easrurope. No errors when beeing requested to numerate all countries from Europe, but when there are the languages asked for...phew...

Wow, you've learned German? Funny...
"Can you feel the love tonight?" = "Kannst du die Liebe heut' Nacht spüren?"
This song has been adapted to our language, if you want to sing it on German you have to sing "Kann es wirklich Liebe sein?" meaning "Can it really be love?" in German. Different text, yeah...
"Ich Liebe" = I love (not to loving someone, "Liebe" with a big L as first letter means "(the) love")
And last but not least, German is "Deutsch" in German.
Really? If one knows English well he easilier is able to understand German!? I always thought it is the other way round...
