(I only watched the resume and the moment of votes and I only want to say that... Spain had an horrible song!!! I hate it!! No good melody, bad voices, confused lyrics.... Huuum...)

And what about Finland? very original!!! Europe understood their different style...

One horrible song... called "Bloody Mary". Four girls dressed in red, in office chairs... Terrible. The song was awful. The group: "Las Ketchup"

Austria has not taken part, because (I heard) the government doesn't want to "join such a childish contest another times" ---> My government is a bit boring

I didn't see the song contest...only a funny resumé at Stefan Raabs fun show "TV total".

IMHO, the best were Makedonia, Turkey and Ukraine.

And those Finland monsters.. The only thing that makes me happy, that Hard rock has defeated pop-music! =)

I have read an opinion in the newspaper which is not so false...

"Such songs and music lead the song contest away even more and more from real traditional national song arts"...or so, similiar to that.

I have to say, I agree with that.
This finnish group would have my "yes" for playing their songs at a rock song contest. But not at the traditional contest

Yeah, the Spanish TV (TVE) called this group after a worldwide (I´m not sure ) hit: "Aserejé". People say this song sold millions of copies in the whole world (teeeeerrible song)

This is not a joke: "Las Ketchup" are called "Hijas del Tomate" (Tomato´s daughters) too. "Tomate" o "Tomatito" is a popular Spanish artist. Teeeerrible, I repeat.

The only two good groups who ever were discovered through the song contest where the "No Angels" and the "Spice Girls".

Well...and we Austrians have discovered our "Christina Stürmer"!

"Abba" were great too. And Celine Dion, Eimear Quinn (won in 1996, Irish singer with "fairy voice"), ... There must be other great artists...


Oh, yeh! And Alf Poier!! (I have to say that his song was amazing and funny and veeery sticky)

That's unfortunate... I would however like to see a video of Spain's song to try and understand what made them so terrible. Even France and Germany.

So many great artists from around the world. I recently got interested in Ruoska from Finland myself. I guess it branched off from my interest in Lordi and Wanha Kurja.

ABBA were and always will be best!
But swedens contribution this year really sucked... i hate Carola and her song invinceable.
I'm glad she didn't win... she didn't deserve it.
She ended up 5th and the radiostations won't shut up about her. Still... it's like 6 six months ago and they still play her crapsong over and over again!
I hate her... i really do... I really really do hate her! I HATE HER!
